Does God really exist? That's certainly
an important question that we have all asked ourselves at one time or
another. God either exists or he doesn't and both possibilities are
frightening! Many people claim that there is no way to actually "prove"
that God exists, they say that we can never really know for sure.
Believe it or not, it actually is possible to absolutely prove the
existence of God. This can be done without referring to faith, religion,
or the even the Scriptures and it only takes about one minute. In fact, this is so
simple that it may even insult your intelligence. Before you read on,
please take a moment to open up your mind to LOGIC and REASON as this
will be crucial in order for you to comprehend the following
information.
When you look at a BUILDING, how do you know that there was
a
BUILDER?
Because the building exists! If you have eyes that can see and a
brain that thinks, you can look at a building and come to the logical
conclusion that someone must have built it. The building could not have
"just happened" by mere chance. You don't even have to see, hear,
touch, taste, or smell the builder. You know that he exists without ever
actually seeing him. The BUILDING is absolute proof for a BUILDER.
When you look at a PAINTING, how do you know that there was a
PAINTER?
Because the painting exists! If you have eyes that can see and a
brain that works, you can look at a painting and come to the logical
conclusion that someone must have painted it. What would it take
for you to believe that the painting just miraculously appeared somehow?
There's no way anyone could convince you of
that! The PAINTING is absolute proof that there was a PAINTER.
Likewise, the CREATION is absolute proof that there was a
CREATOR.
This is nothing but common sense. Logic and reason
clearly dictate that the
earth and everything it contains, in all of it's mind-boggling
intricacy of design and order, could not possibly have just happened by mere
chance any more than a building or a painting could have.
Anyone who believes that God does not exist,
commonly referred to as an atheist, is like a man who stands
in front of
to a building and says: "Hey, you know what? I really don't think anyone built this
thing!" The Bible speaks of this type of person in Psalm 14:1 saying, "The FOOL
hath said in his heart, there is no God." Don't be a fool, The Bible says that
you are fearfully and wonderfully made by God (Psalm 139:14). There is
absolutely no scientific evidence backing
evolution. In fact, all
scientific evidence points towards the literal, six day creation as
described in God's Word, the Holy
Bible.
Take a
look at some other verses from the Bible that speak about how
obvious God's existence is simply by looking at His
creation:
- The heavens declare the glory of
God; and the firmament shows His handiwork. Day unto day utters
speech, and night unto night reveals knowledge. There is no speech
nor language where their voice is not heard. (Psalm 19:1-3)
- He has made the earth by His
power, He has established the world by His wisdom, and has stretched
out the heavens at His discretion. (Jeremiah 10:12)
